• HM Magazine (formerly Heaven's Metal but now Hard Music) did a cover story of P.O.D. titled: "The Most Important Rock Band Today", inside the magazine, the article titled "The Prevailing Love" by Chris M. Short, says

P.O.D is a "Bad Brains-loving, hyper-kinetic, hard-as-steel, tattooed-the-earth, hammer-your-head-bloody-riff-ripping band."(HM Sep/Oct 2001), This article also displayed the Rasta looking "Jesus" (pictured right>>).

P.O.D. is also praised in the article for including Rasta preachers/singer H.R. and Eek-A-Mouse on their Satellite album.

"P.O.D. became well known only two years ago after signing
with Atlantic, a mainstream [secular] record label. Shooting
quickly to the top of the charts in both secular and Christian music industries, Satellite went platinum after about a month of sales.

"Soon, their hit song "Alive" played in venues ranging
from Christian to secular radio stations to MTV. An
obvious success, Satellite displays Christian themes, handling difficult life issues with a more positive, edifying tone than secular groups of similar music styles."
