Having looked into this band, we have found startling information that most must be ignorant of.

Here is what was under the FAQ section on a fan site, about whether or not POD is a "Christian" band or not:
Question: Is P.O.D. a Christian band?
Answer: No. They are Christians, but they do not want to be pigeon-holed as a Christian band. Talking with a backslidden young person, we asked if he viewed P.O.D. as a Christian band? He mockingly replied, "no way, I hear them on the radio!" He then said that he and a friend had been riding in a Pastor's car, and saw a P.O.D. CD, belonging to his 15 yr. old. They (his friend and him) looked at each other sarcastically and laughed because they couldn't believe that a Pastor would allow a worldly CD!
The world knows there ought to be a distinction between the godly and ungodly, the ones confused seem to be the Christians.
Many adults may have never even heard of P.O.D., but your young people probably have, for P.O.D. is considered "the most important rock band today" (as Hard Music Magazine titled the cover of their Sep/Oct 2001 issue) and their CD is carried in all Christian Bookstores including many Christian church bookstores, as well as their posters on Youth Group walls.
The only people calling this group absolute "Christian" are the Christian's, for the secular see them as something far from Christian. This seems to be the confusion with most of the "Christian Rock" music out there, but we'll stick to the P.O.D. issue. How low Christianity has stooped!

 The World Loves and Embraces - POD!
POD's Followers are mostly secular, their concerts are always joining the secular artists, they even tour with Secular, Occultic, Demonic Rock stars like, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie, the OzzFest ......etc.
How can TRUE Christians ever Associate themselves with people that repeatedly are mockers of Christianity, Perverse, unrepentant, who are BOLD about their sinful, repulsive lifestyles! How can they have the idea that they are going to TRULY save them? They are lowering the STANDARD of God.....not bringing it to them!
John 15:18-19 If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
The scriptures show us that the world will always hate us (as true believers), they hated Jesus so much that they crucified Him, they hated the disciples so much they put all them to death! They hated the Prophets and put them through torturous death also....
Hebrews 11:36-38 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yes, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were temepted, were slain with the sword: they wondered about in sheepskin and goatskin; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; Of whom the world was not worthy: they wandered in deserts and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
Above we see that the godly men and women of God were rejected completely by the world! As Jesus said, this is how you know if they are of God or not, by their rejection or acceptance!
Here is what John said about this WORLD:
1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever.
So HOW could this band possibly tell us, that it is OK to JOIN, befriend, and emrace the secular? The example they give is not what Jesus, James, Luke, Paul, Peter, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Moses...etc did! They NEVER lowered the STANDARD of God to reach people - they SPOKE the TRUTH and those that had a humble heart and wanted to change responded! POD has set the precedent and example to all their fans, that it is OK to befriend, embrace and be like the world!
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be you not unequally yoked together with
unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? And what concord does Christ have with Belial? or what part has he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement does the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the, Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
IS LIGHT SUPPOSED TO EXPOSE DARKNESS OR JOIN IT??
I challenge you to honestly take a second look at this band:
